Events at Symmons Plains and Baskerville Raceway will kick off the Touring Car Racing Australia and national Trans Am series in January.
The new events will be known as the Race Tasmania festival and held from January 24-26 (Symmons Plains) and January 29-31 (Baskerville).
As the state's race fans get their first taste of action since early 2019, Australian Racing Group chief executive Matt Braid is excited to cross Bass Strait.

"The circuits on our calendar offer our competitors a great mix of our best race tracks, including ARG's first trip to Symmons Plains in Tasmania," he said.
"We have also built in a number of contingency plans into our 2021 dates and venues, considering how quickly the world can change. This will keep us flexible and agile in these uncertain times."
The Tasmanian visit kick starts a season that will see drivers visit four states for six championships events, concluding at the inaugural Bathurst invitational at the famed Mount Panorama circuit.
Announcing the season is a welcome relief for Braid and the country's drivers, with only one Trans Am event held in 2019 at the Adelaide street circuit before the COVID-19 pandemic intervened.
"Despite the fact that our TCR cars and drivers have been parked for almost a year, the desire of teams to get back out and showcase this fantastic international touring car formula is second to none," he said.
"We know they are going to produce a great show when they hit the track."
All events will be broadcast on the Seven Network.
