The Spooktacular Lights Display is the brainchild of SunSmart Energy's Max Jago, who estimates he has spent upwards of $100,000 creating the spectacular.
It's not your standard lights display - it's complete with custom LED screens, dancing skeletons, video and music synchronisation and passers-by can even tune their radio to 101.8 to listen to the music from the comfort of their cars.
It's the first time Mr Jago has decorated his house for Halloween - after transforming the property last year for Christmas.
"Last year I set up the house for Christmas and it was really popular," Mr Jago said.
"I thought with Halloween being on a Saturday night this year it'd be a really fun thing to do for everyone to enjoy."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The mammoth effort, transforming the front of the house and the roof, took months of hard work.
"Since about July 7, I've spent every weekend and most nights working on this," Mr Jago said.
"I had my friend Kim help me build the screens in my garage, the big TV's. That was about seven weekends, two of us, ten hours a day.
"They're about 160 kilograms each, so five of the boys came around and helped me lift them into position - I'm not looking forward to taking them down."
Mr Jago plans to start the display at 8.30pm on Saturday, finishing about 10pm.
"There's six different tracks, ranging from three minutes up to a Michael Jackson Thriller track which goes for around six minutes.
"We have traffic management set up, the Rocherlea Volunteer Fire Brigade will have a truck on site in case anything goes wrong with pyrotechnics.
"Last weekend during a trial run some excess fluid got onto the roof and it ignited... luckily there wasn't extensive damage done and we've fixed the valve issue, so it shouldn't happen again.
"I love seeing all the kids, and the adults, enjoying it. All of the work is rewarded by seeing the families and everyone having a great time.
"It's something different for Launceston, and coming out of COVID-19 I think it'll be a great thing.
"Obviously we have to make sure we're socially distanced, but it's something different, fun and safe for families.
