The survey, commissioned by the Federal Group, showed 51 per cent of surveyed Tasmanians had booked or taken an intrastate trip in September.
This was up from 24 per cent in June.

The survey showed Tasmanians' desire for live performances.
According to results, 70 per cent of people said they would attend live performances as frequently as they did before the pandemic while 9 per cent said they would attend them more frequently.
More than 40 per cent of respondents attended live performances once a month pre-COVID.
Ninety-five per cent of survey respondents believed cleaning and hygiene practices at live performance venues was an important consideration.
