The annual event, hosted by Interweave Arts, is encouraging the audience to dress up in something remade to celebrate fashion and art.
Coordinator Kim Schneiders said rubbish could be used in a creative format to create wearable and accessible art.
"[We are] creating a mindfulness and awareness about how much packaging is out there, and being aware of where things are coming from, and the impact on the environment that a piece of clothing or an object can have," she said.
"We are the caretakers and we need to be conscious of that."
Ms Schneiders said the event started as a way to create work that had minimal footprint and to focus on community, sustainability, and the environment.
There have been 25 artists commissioned for Remade this year and each garment modeled to the public has a story behind its creation and comes with the powerful message that what we produce does matter.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Remade will be split into two events, a smaller matinee show and a larger evening event with live music and other performances including some from the Remade Quartet, Stompin', Studio Space, Stage Right and Youth Theatre.
Large scale installations and projects from Ralf Haertel, Darryl Rogers, QVMAG, and Caitlin Street will also be on display in a variety of formats.
"Live and be creative in your living as well as sustainable," Ms Schneiders said.
This year's show will also see a change of venues, moving to Albert Hall to comply with COVID restrictions.
Tickets to both the matinee session (2pm) and the main event (7.30pm) as well as the live stream - all to be held on October 31 - are available through eventbrite.
Ms Schneiders said the experience vouchers purchased in the travel voucher scheme could be used.
The tickets to the main event also include a personal platter of nibbles and one free drink from the bar.
