The Inveresk clinic closed on Thursday, with a new clinic located at 246-248 Wellington Street opening at 8.30am Friday.
Public Health incident controller Michelle Searle said there would be no changes to how people make a booking.
Anyone requiring a coronavirus test on Thursday afternoon, while the clinic is relocating, should contact the GP-led Launceston respiratory clinic on 6351 0007.
Health Minister Sarah Courtney said continuing a high testing rate was critical to keeping the community safe.

"Tasmanians have done an outstanding job to adjust to the new COVID environment, and while it may be challenging, we must retain high levels of vigilance," she said.
"I encourage everyone to make sure they are regularly washing hands, practising social distancing, and staying at home if they're unwell.
"If you have any symptoms such as a sniffle, fever, cough, sore or scratchy throat or shortness of breath it's really important to go and get tested."
So far more than 115,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Tasmania, however rates have dropped in recent weeks.
