Hawthorn's Brendon Bolton and North Melbourne's Brady Rawlings have had their jobs confirmed for the 2021 season amid plenty of footballing uncertainty.

Returning to Hawthorn after being sacked as Carlton leader last season, Bolton held the director of coaching role in 2020 and was announced as one of three assistant coaches to make up the Hawks' line-coaching team for 2021.
Bolton will oversee the midfield group while Chris Newman takes defence, Craig McRae takes forwards and Sam Mitchell works with the VFL side and becomes head of development.
"Sam, Chris, Brendon and Craig all bring an excellent standard of coaching to our group and offer a huge range of knowledge, skills and experience to our coaching panel," said fellow Tasmanian, Hawthorn's chief of football Graham Wright.
Across at the Kangaroos, general manager of football Rawlings has been placed on a panel alongside the likes of Paul Roos and Glenn Archer as they search for a new coach.
