One of the key participants in a wild brawl at the Lighthouse Hotel in Ulverstone pleaded guilty to the unusual charge of affray on Thursday.

Footage of the incident went viral after it was released on social media. The footage shows at least 10 men involved in the brawl at the hotel and has been viewed millions of times since it appeared.
Lopiseni Lincoln Rupene-Tomasi, 26, pleaded guilty via video from Risdon Prison in the Launceston Magistrates Court to affray by fighting with a number of men to the "terror of other persons" on January 17, 2020.

Rupene-Tomasi also pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault by punching Damien Hanslow in the face and a count of destroy property, namely windows tables and chairs, arising from the brawl.
However, he pleaded not guilty to smashing the windows of a flower shop on the same day.
He pleaded guilty to several charges in Prospect Vale on August 28, 2020, including a count of common assault for spitting in the face of Malik Janson.
He admitted a destroy property count, namely smashing a car windscreen, a second count of destroy property for breaking a chair and light shade and a count of injure property in relation to a handrail and a kitchen shelf.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault in Prospect between July and July 31 for thrusting a knife towards Ms Janson's chest.
He also pleaded not guilty to a count of common assault for throwing a wine bottle, chair, coffee table, glass of wine and an icecream at Ms Janson.
Magistrate Ken Stanton committed Rupene-Tomasi to the Supreme Court in Launceston for sentence on the affray charge on December 4 at 10am.
He remanded him in custody for hearing on December 14, 2020 for the matters to which he pleaded not guilty.
Tasmania Police charged seven men involved in the brawl including four men from interstate.
The brawl was dubbed the "most feral pub brawl of all time" by the Daily Mail in the United Kingdom.
