Following the cancellation of the official 2020 season, the 2021 roster will get underway on Saturday, April 10 - the weekend after Easter.
NTFA FINALS FEVER
The division one and women's grand finals will both be played on Saturday, September 4, while the premier division big dance will be a week later on September 11.
Just six months out from round one, the announcements come as music to the ears of loyal followers.
Players from Deloraine, Rocherlea, Scottsdale, Old Scotch, George Town, Bridgenorth, Bracknell, Old Launcestonians, Meander Valley and UTAS got their taste of 2020 football through the NTFA's opt-in shield competition.
But the likes of Hillwood, Longford, South Launceston, Lilydale, St Pats, East Coast, Evandale, Bridport and Perth will return to play in 2021 after opting out.
