Emergency services were called to the scene on White Street about 8pm after a single vehicle crash.
The crash had blocked the road and caused damage to a power pole.
IN OTHER NEWS:
One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews from TasNetworks and Atlus remained on the scene into the night to carry out repairs.
The road was reduced to one lane while this occurred.
