Tweaking her knee late in the fielding innings, the former Blue put her old side to the sword by scoring 60 off just 47 balls in damp Windsor Park conditions.
Batting with an assisted runner due to the worsening injury, which she expected to be an anterior cruciate ligament tear, Boden was run out late in the chase by Alysha Jackson.
Earlier in the day, the Blues won the toss and elected to bat with Greater Northern Raiders representative Emma Manix-Geeves slotting into the lineup and opening alongside Kate Sherriff.
TSL FINALS FEVER
Just as she started to get going, Manix-Geeves was dismissed by Mary Broadhurst for 16 but Sherriff would certainly take the torch and run with it.
The young gun worked alongside former captain Maddi Hill (16 off 32) and the new leader Elyse Page to amass 51 not out off 53 balls.
Sherriff and Hill put on 67 runs for the second wicket before the latter was caught by Broadhurst off the bowling of Michelle Phillips.
Charlotte Layton (2-19 off four overs) would be the pick of the bowlers for Launceston, getting on a hattrick in the final over with the scalps of Sara Wilkin and Jackson.
Despite her injury, Boden was all class as she batted alongside captain Lynn Hendley (33 not out off 49 balls) in a 93-run stand.
She only offered two slight chances - one dropped by Sherriff - while Hendley was prolific in scoring runs behind point as she carried her bat in the chase.
Wilkin was Riverside's best, claiming two late wickets to bowl three overs for just seven runs, which could see her opening the bowling in the coming weeks.
The round's other contest - South Launceston versus Mowbray - saw the Eagles forfeit.
