Both applications are for a "seven bedroom dwelling with deck and landings" and each comprises of seven ensuites.
There are no existing dwellings on the land.
The developments are estimated to cost $476,113 each.
Both proposed developments have allotted space for two cars.
In other news:
A "reduce parking provision" is included on both applications which means there is an expectation for a reduced number of parking spaces needed at the location.
The development applications concern lots 13 and 30 Diamond Park Estate, Perth.
The lots can be seen on a map as 84 and 102 Fairtlough street, Perth.
One of the dwellings would be visible from Seccombe street while the other is an internal block off of Fairtlough Street on the proposed Zircon Place.
The area of the applications is determined to be bushfire prone and both were subject to a bushfire management report.
The report concluded that there would be sufficient area on both lots for building setbacks to aid in mitigating bushfire danger.
The applications were made by the Supported Affordable Accomodations Trust, an organisation with a number of similar properties throughout Tasmania.
The homes built by the trust aim to provide independent living in a group environment.
The trust received $6 million in state government funding in February last year to build nine communal sites in the Hobart region.
The trust works in collaboration with the NDIS.
The applications for the residential communal residences are available for public comment on the council's website until September 28.
