Sam Artis was named best on ground for the Blues as the junior side completed a perfect weekend of four premierships across seniors, development league, women's and under-18s that will go down in Tasmanian football history.

Clarence - the only side to beat the Blues all year - started off strong, holding the ball in their forward 50 consistently but were unable to turn it into scoreboard dominance as Launceston's defence stood tall.

When given their chance, the Blues looked quick and dangerous in attack as Ben Hyatt made up for a freakish miss earlier in the quarter to slot the only major of the first from 45 metres.

The second term started with a bit of feeling with Clarence's Matt Noble reported for a potentially high and late bump but the Blues only hit the scoreboard as Cody Jones casually kicked one from the pocket.

The Kangaroos hopped to it from there, looking hard to stop as Ruben Tompkins and Miles Sawford booted majors to give the Southern side a two-point lead at the main break.

Bryce Alomes, who was strong all day for the Roos, extended the lead but Spencer Hayes marked a poor kick-out minutes later to peg the margin back as the only other major for the term.

The final quarter was electric as Cooper Warren's massive pack mark and goal put the Blues back in front before opposing power forward Max Lamb evaded a tackle and swung onto the left boot under pressure.

It would be Hayes who would seal the deal after two consecutive high tackles in the forward 50 gave him a chance with less than four minutes remaining, which he took with both hands.
