Freycinet National Park has a new walking and cycling path which allows visitors to more safely traverse the track from the visitor centre to the Wineglass Bay car park.

Most of the work was undertaken during the COVID-19 closure of the park and offers views and other short walk opportunities for those making the trek.

The four kilometre track cost $1.4 million and was funded by the state government as part of a larger $16 million upgrade.
