Organiser Sally Tonks said the event hopes to help families find the purrfect pet to fit their needs.
"It's a simple fact that different breeds have different temperaments and different personalities," Ms Tonks said.
"Whether you've got other pets, young children, are away a lot or have allergies - you'll be able to come along, speak to breeders and experts and figure out your perfect match."
Breeds on display will include British, Maine Coon, Siamese and Bengal, with all breeders registered with the Australian Cat Federation to promote responsible pet ownership.
Information stalls and stands selling accessories will also be on offer, with giveaways on the day of cat food while
The expo runs from 10am-3pm at the Evandale Memorial Hall Sunday 18 October, with a gold coin entry.
