A Stonehenge man has been charged with multiple offences after police recovered 18 guns and items equalling more than $100,0000 from a rural property.

Police attended the property on Wednesday, locating the guns and various types of ammunition.
The guns included category D and category C prohibited firearms, as well as three replica handguns, police say.

Police also discovered a large number of items including mountain bikes, an electric bike, heavy machinery parts, power tools and hand tools.
A stolen vehicle was also recovered.
The man has been charged with firearms trafficking and unlawful possession.
Police have reminded the public of the permanent firearms amnesty in place.
