Experienced defender Loic Feral has been a regular adversary with South Hobart and Olympia and believes both Launceston City and Riverside Olympic are heading in the right direction despite propping up the statewide ladder.
The hard-working Frenchman, who turns 33 later this month, is one of only three ever-present players for Olympia this season including Saturday's 4-0 win at City.
"I think they are both going OK," he said. "I can really see the improvement in Riverside from their first games when they joined the league and were getting beaten quite easily but then they started to get the scores down.

"Launceston City have some players that can really play and they try and play out from the back and keep the ball which is good to see.
"I think they are just missing a few players to link everything up which would make the difference."
Olympia have won all four matches against the Northern neighbours this season and are the opposition for Olympic in the under-20 cup semi-final on October 31 at Windsor Park and also City in the Lakoseljac Cup semi-final at Warrior Park the following day.
