Thanks to victories from both North Launceston and Launceston on Saturday, the grand final will be played in front of a 25 per cent capacity crowd at UTAS Stadium as the largest sporting crowd in the 2020 season.
The development league battle between Kane Sanders' Launceston and Brenton Gale's North will kick things off at 9.45am, followed by Ange Dickson's TSLW Blues taking on Glenorchy at 12.15pm - warming up the ground for the main event.
Mitch Thorp's Launceston, in a grand final for the first time since 2012, will then attempt to bring North Launceston's State League dynasty to a year-long halt at 2.30pm.
STATE LEAGUE NEWS
Speaking to The Examiner following his side's victory over Lauderdale to qualify for the big dance, Thorp was pleased to hear that North Launceston won to continue their healthy rivalry.
"It's going to be a blockbuster," he said.
"Probably the most traditional rivals in Tasmania are Launceston v North Launceston - you're either on one side of the river or the other.
"There's a healthy respect there but there's a really nice rivalry as well and I'm sure it will be a combative contest."
The Blues and Bombers have split victories this season, with Thorp's men taking out Taylor Whitford's by 19 points in round two at Windsor Park to break a snap of 18 Northern derby losses.
But from there Whitford's crew have not lost all season, winning 11 straight matches including a three-goal triumph over the Blues on the grand final deck.
The two clubs also finished in the top spots in the development league but this time it was the Blues topping the table.

- Launceston's Mitch Thorp on the Blues and Bombers rivalry
Finishing on the bottom of the development league standings last season, the Blues have revitalised their line-up, only losing one match this season - by 23 points at the hands of their grand final opponents.
The Bombers though slipped up twice throughout the year, losing to Launceston by a solitary point in their second game and the other - a 51-point upset to the Tigers.
Gale's side comfortably accounted for the Tigers though in their semi-final as Launceston had to struggle for their place at UTAS Stadium on Saturday.
In the women's competition, the Magpies have been a thorn in the Blues' side all season as the team responsible for their two defeats.
Despite being defeated by Clarence twice this season, Glenorchy overcame the Roos by four points at Claremont's Abbotsfield Park to get their chance at reclaiming their 2018 crown.
