The two clubs finished the TSL senior and development league home and away seasons in the top two spots and could meet in all-Northern grand finals should they win home preliminary finals this weekend.
Only one will make it to the under-18 STJFL grand final, however, with minor premier Launceston set to host the fourth-placed Bombers at noon on Sunday.

Both clubs will have difficult selections calls to make ahead of Saturday's TSL finals, with a number of players in line for selection.
The Bombers rested Baynen Lowe and Jake Laskey from last round's Glenorchy win while Tom Bennett and Jackson Callow will be eyeing returns from injury.
Nathan Pearce, Lachie Cocker and Liam Davies all impressed in the development league.
Meanwhile, Tim Auckland and Tim Bristow could be back for Launceston who also have Brendan Taylor, Jack Donnellan, Hamish Leedham and Grant Holt waiting in the wings.
