The event will start at 10am at the UTAS Stadium Precinct, Gate 10 entry. However, people can participate virtually, which will allow for flexibility around when and where the community can get involved.
Registrations close at 5pm on October 2. Entry is $25 for an adult, $15 for children up to 16-years-old, and $65 for a family (two adults, two children). Funds will support heart research in Northern Tasmania.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Clifford Craig Foundation CEO Peter Milne said Northern Tasmania had some of the worst rates for heart health in Australia.
"Please encourage your family friends and colleagues to recognise their heart health and use Sunday as the trigger point to activate a more healthier lifestyle," he said.
Heart disease affects one in six Australians and two of three families. Two in three Australian adults are overweight or obese, which is a leading factor for the disease.
