Captain Jarrod Scott led from the front for the victors, named his side's best as Jordan Cousens was named Rocherlea's - collecting over 30 disposals in a fantastic display of football.

The Kangaroos started with a bang, keeping Rocherlea goalless as Dom Shegog grabbed two and Brayden Butler, Dornauf and Adam Crawford all snagged one to create a 29-point buffer.

Jacob Hawkins finally converted a chance to add the Tigers' first just minutes into the second and was followed closely by Cousens, who continued where he left off after a huge first quarter.

It looked like the Tigers were swinging the game back in their favour but they were plagued by inaccuracy in key moments as the Kangaroos held an eight-point margin at the main break.

Kangaroos full forward Tyson Gardam broke a long third-term drought halfway through in what proved to be the only major of the quarter as the Roos took a three-goal lead into the last.

The Tigers started the fourth with an early clearance, followed by a Kaiden Cox-Goodyer goal to get them right in the game.

But it wouldn't last long, with a deliberate rushed-behind decision sending the crowd into a frenzy as Shaun McCrossen took advantage.

It would be another free kick, this time a 50-metre penalty, that would give the Kangaroos their next and a 27-point lead with dual Butler majors securing the flag to raucous applause before emotional scenes after the siren.
