The trio, John Xintavelonis, Andrew Colrain and Colin Dean, to be accompanied by their dancing Croonette's and joined virtually by a live recording of their band, will delight audiences with their harmonious vocals and jovial banter.

Mr Xintavelonis, better known as John X, said it's great to be coming out of COVID and have the opportunity to perform Croon once again to audiences of all ages.

"We are lucky we sing material that is so eternal that if they weren't your favourite songs and singers when you were growing up, they were your parents favourite songs when you were growing up," he said.

Mr Xintavelonis said the show brings the men's own personal humour and characters to the forefront.

"There's a lot of dressing up and hats and jackets. We dress up as Mexicans at one point, and Italian waiters at another. It's quite theatrical, so people can expect all that sort of stuff," he said.

Mr Xintavelonis said the community have been hanging out to go to events such as these, and Croon have been desperate to perform again.

"Audiences are massively keen to come out and catch a show like this and as I said, there's not many shows like this around," he said.

"This style of show is very rare and we've cornered such a niche market."

Mr Colrain said the community are keen to get out and see some live performances again.

"We have done a couple of shows so far and the response has been really positive," he said.

Each member of the trio has a distinctive voice. Mr Xintavelonis sits in the middle with a lovely tenor, Mr Colrain with a slightly higher voice, and Mr Dean with a slightly lower voice. The combination plays well in the songs that feature harmonies.

Mr Dean said performing Croon in a church will put a whole new perspective on the show with the acoustics.

"It's classy music. It's the sort of music that transcends generations," he said.

"It's the style of music that everybody knows and loves."
