The NBL has confirmed that all potential names for Tasmania's NBL team have been thoroughly "tested", which includes potential logos.
It comes after images of a Tasmania Jack Jumpers logo was discovered on Thursday after the the shortlist dropped to two, the Jack Jumpers and the Tridents, as an option after Tasmania Pride was eliminated.
The final name will be confirmed next Thursday when the Tasmanian team's foundation memberships are also revealed.
"We've gone through a very exhaustive process to find a name including asking the people of Tasmania what they want,'' Team Tasmania chief executive Simon Brookhouse said.
"We've looked at and tested a wide range of names, logos and colours as you'd expect and there's been a lot of speculation about what the name might be.
