AIEF executive director Andrew Penfold AM said the partnership recognised the transformative power education had in communities.
"Together, we are committed to increasing Year 12 attainment and expanding employment opportunities to Indigenous Australians," he said.

According to Closing the Gap, about 66 per cent of Indigenous Australians aged between 20 and 24 years had completed grade 12 or equivalent in 2018-2019.
South32 recently launched its Reconciliation Action Plan, aiming to increase Indigenous employment and procurement within the company.
Chief executive Graham Kerr said "We want South32 to be an employer of choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples and this partnership will help many young people on their future career path."
