Belinda Leone Colbran was found guilty of the murder of Aaron Monaco and sentenced to 24 years with a non-parole period of 13 years.
Her co-accused Nathan Thomas Smith pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 24 years with a non parole period of 14 years.
The Court of Criminal Appeal upheld the sentence handed down by Justice Greg Geason.

The murder occurred on November 4, 2016, after Colbran and Smith had been drinking heavily.
They decided to confront Mr Monaco with whom they were angry with for outstaying his welcome in Smith's unit in Parua Road, Newnham. Colbran took a wolf knife from a suitcase under the bed in her unit.
She gave it to Smith who used it to stab Mr Monaco. Mr Monaco told police that he had been stabbed by "Nathan Smith" before dying of his wounds
In other news:
Justice Geason found that Colbran had restricted the movements of the deceased which allowed Smith to stab him. The appeal was made on the basis that the sentence was manifestly excessive given Colbran's lack of prior convictions.
Chief Justice Alan Blow said that the learned judge had made an error of fact in finding that Colbran had restricted Monaco's movement. "But his error was inconsequential and should not result in the appeal succeeding," he said.
