Michael Samuel Charlesworth, 23, and Matthew Luke Williams, 27 have pleaded not guilty.
Justice Robert Pearce told the jury that all 11 must agree on their verdict.

However, after two hours of deliberations he said he could accept a majority verdict if 10 jurors agreed.
Defence counsel Evan Hughes and Justice Pearce addressed the jury on Tuesday morning.
The jury retired at 1.15pm.
Justice Pearce said during his summing up that the jury could be satisfied that an aggravated armed robbery did occur on May 9, 2018 because CCTV footage from the hotel showed two heavily disguised and armed men robbing the hotel.
However, he said that the state was required to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was Messrs Charlesworth and Williams who committed the robbery.
He said the Crown had presented a circumstantial case and the evidence must be considered as a whole.
During the six-day trial the jury has heard that DNA evidence linked Messrs Charlesworth and Williams to clothing items, particularly a pair of orange gardening gloves, used in the robbery.
However, the jury heard that DNA also linked Mr Charlesworth's friend Ziggy Brunskill and Mr Charlesworth's brother Brandon to some items.
Brandon Charlesworth's DNA was found on a till from the hotel, a black backpack and a machete and Mr Brunskill's DNA was found in the car used in the robbery, a grey backpack and inside a grey jacket.
The jury heard that DNA could be extracted from a sample of a billionth of a gram.
The defence argued that the DNA on the clothes was a result of secondary transfer when they were placed in a washing machine in a shed at an address in Verdun St, Mowbray.
Justice Pearce said the jury should draw no adverse inference from the fact that Brandon Charlesworth appeared in court in handcuffs and accompanied by extra security guards.
The jury heard that Mr Brunskill and Brandon Charlesworth were arrested in Mayfield early on May 10, 2018 after they attempted to evade police.
Both men denied involvement when they appeared.
The jury saw CCTV footage from a number of sources including from the Black Stallion hotel when two men arrived in a vehicle apparently intent on a robbery.
The court heard from the former partner of Mr Williams that on the night of May 9 he had left her home for about an hour.
