Taking place on September 26, Deloraine will host the under-21s and seniors finals, while the women's grand final will be played the next day at Bridgenorth.

While spectator limits have been set at 500 for the roster, the NTFA and AFL Tasmania have put a proposal to the state government for 1000 fans to attend the September 26 games.

But if that is knocked back, those who miss out on attending the game will be able to watch from the comfort of their own homes, with all three grand finals to be live-streamed through the NTFA's Facebook page.

Board member Damian Jones said Deloraine were selected as host due to the development of their new facilities and their unanimous support of the competition.

"The NTFA board thought it would be appropriate that with the 500 people cap with venues that we would take the finals series to the community," he said.

"By that I mean take it out to the clubs that have played in the opt-in competition and they'd done all the hard work with the COVID protocols during the season and it gives them an opportunity and their supporters to get along."

With the development of the club's state-of-the-art demountable change-room facilities being accelerated for the grand final, Deloraine president Don Tracey is very appreciative that the NTFA recognised his club and community.

"Hosting the grand final will be good for the club and it will be good financially," he said

"You only have to walk down the street, there's people asking how we are doing, where we are playing next and they've been asking if we are going to get the grand final, things like that."

Rocherlea and Scottsdale will host the two seniors preliminary finals this weekend while sharing under 21s and women's games with Bracknell.
