Deputy Principal Jason Perry said the campaign was about promoting safety, exercise and environmental awareness.
"It is great to promote walking to school, it's so good for the health and wellbeing of our young people, particularly with the disruption of COVID-19 on our school year," he said.
National Walk Safely to School 2020 ambassador Professor Patrick McGorry AO said COVID-19 had resulted in a deterioration of exercise habits, particularly among young people.
