Back in 2010 Bridgenorth took out the seniors and reserves titles.
Days later they were still celebrating. Here's out it was reported in The Examiner:
THE Bridgenorth Football Club is already planning towards achieving back to back NTFA division 1 premierships following its senior and reserves teams' successes in grand finals on Saturday.
Celebrations were big at their Parrot Park clubrooms on Saturday night after the grand final and continued with full steam yesterday as the club basked in the glory of its double premiership success.
"It was a big night last night and I suppose 14 years is a long time to go between premierships and I think it was 12 years when we won the one before that," Bridgenorth coach Paul Beechey said.
"Winning both the senior and reserves flags was a great achievement for the club and a reward for the hard work put in by everyone involved with it."
Club sources said yesterday that they thought it was the first time since 1984 that an NTFA club had won both flags in the one year and it was Bridgenorth who achieved the feat that year too.
"It's a pretty unique club the Bridgenorth footy club and hopefully we can keep the list together and go again next year," Beechey said.
"I've had commitments from (Daniel) Sellars and (Josh) Murfett and those sort of guys this week and they are the nucleus of our side - so I just have to tell my wife that I'm going to coach them again now."
