A woman has been charged after failing to self isolate upon returning to Northern Tasmania from Queensland.
The 22 year-old woman returned to Tasmania on August 23 and was directed to isolate for a period of 14 days.
Police said the woman was found at another Northern address today and was issued a $774 fine for breaching quarantine.
In other news:
"There is no evidence that any members of the community were put at risk during the breach," police said.
"Police continue to actively monitor people who are required to isolate, with more than 26,000 checks having been conducted since 25 March.
"Non-compliance with self-isolation requirements or other restrictions can be reported here."
