Deviot farmer Nick's journey on Farmer Wants A Wife sadly was not the fairy tale ending to be.
The 44-year-old owner of Marion's Vineyard chose Liz as his final love interest on Sunday night in hopes of building a relationship outside the show.
The Brisbane marriage celebrant appeared over the moon and optimistic about their future, as did Nick.

However, fast forward to the show's series finale on Monday night. The farmers reunited to provide an update on their relationships.
Nick admitted himself and Liz were very similar, as they were both always looking to have fun and for something to joke about.
The Tamar Valley farmer said he chose her because he believed they had the best chance at making something real work.
"Liz and I are the same person you know, just different genders," he said.
"She was really easy to get along with, it was like hanging out with a version of myself."
Host Natalie Gruzlewski then asked the important question, had the relationship worked out. Nick said it had not.
Liz shed light on why it may not have. She claimed after filming he began to withdraw and there was limited communication.
"What Nick and I had was real because you can't fake that," she said.
"It's just really disappointing that he didn't even want to try."
Nick said he returned from the show at his vineyard's busiest time and had a lot to catch up on that he neglected during filming.
"I was willing to give it a go, I said 'look, lets take this really slowly' and she wanted to take it quicker," he said.
"I know in my heart that it wasn't going to be right and I owed it to her to snap it off clean [and] early because she really deserves someone and that someone is not me."
Despite the heartbreak, Nick is not giving up on love and is still looking for his forever.
