How did you get involved?

We've got three boys that played for the Launceston Footy Club [Kurt, Luke and Rhys] - they're all grown up and gone now - but we got involved.

I've had some help over the years with other people wanting to take some of the load off because there's not really a lot of time when you work full-time.

We get told we've got the best kiosk in Tassie - everyone tells us, even the opposition tell us.

It's a big effort but we just wanted to give back what they gave us for our boys.

What keeps you coming back?

I guess because we get recognised from people and people appreciate it - it just makes you want to keep doing it.

We're about to retire from it though, 12 years is a long time and we don't have any boys here playing, one's in Hobart playing and we'd like to be able to see him.

We make good money and it helps keep the club going so that's what drives my husband and I to keep coming back.

When you hand over that money at the end of the day it's worth standing here for eight hours.

How's the team going?

Launny's doing really well - it's a good club, it attracts really good kids. They're always polite and just love their sports.

Favourite player?

They're just lovely guys - my husband and I are sponsoring one in the D-League and we're lucky enough to pick who you want to.

The young boy we chose this year, Trey Clark, is an absolutely incredible young boy.

He goes home and cooks, washes, supports his mother and he's just the happiest kid out there on the field.

Everyone likes him and he's been doing that for years. He blows me away. He'd be one of my favourites in the younger league.

Sporting dream for 2020?

For Collingwood to win the grand final! And Launceston to win. I'm a real Magpies supporter.

How did you get involved?

Through my son [Jonty] - he came to play down here, I came to watch and just got involved. I had a year off last year so I've been here eight years.

What keeps you coming back?

The people and the players - they're good guys.

How's the team going?

Actually really well - from being in the division that they've been in they're doing well against the teams in the premier division.

Favourite player?

It has to be my son - he'll kill me if I say Matthew Duggan.

Sporting dream for 2020?

Just for all the clubs to survive 2020, all the clubs to survive everything everyone's been through.

How did you get involved?

I was quite vocal about a few things and was told to get on the committee, so I joined that 25 years ago and have been on and off it ever since.

Clubs like this aren't successful without a good number of volunteers.

What keeps you coming back?

The social side of it. I've got a lot of mates here and just like to help out somehow.

How's the team going?

Progressing well considering they are very young and will be reasonably pleased to be improving every week.

Favourite player?

Without a doubt Jarrod Hill. Everyone loves Jarrod, he's a true gentleman of the game.

Sporting dream for 2020?

Aston Villa to be leading the English Premier League at Christmas. It's a highly unlikely dream.
