Ruth Tuohy walked away not entirely satisfied with the 71-53 win over Cripps Waratah like most coaches do sitting on the sidelines.
But, with Tuohy's reserved co-coach Kellie Woolnough, was cheery enough to bank a fifth straight in the account.
"We had played in patches - so, we were not necessarily consistent," Tuohy said.
"When we really started to pick up on our game, we had some really big strings of plays - that was really good.
"At times, our defensive pressure was what allowed that, but it was still great to come away with the win."
Cripps never did seriously threaten the home side for three quarters after trailing just 17-16 at the first break.
The margin peaked at 18 goals at three-quarter time and stayed that way for a break-even next 15 minutes.

But after racking up 70 goals against Cavaliers and 105 on Devon, the attacking pairing of Ashlea Mawer and Danni Pickett ran hot.
The combination ensured Mawer landed 59 goals at 91 per cent and together they only missed seven attempts.
Tuohy put that down to ample midcourt supply.
"That's the thing, though - we potentially had but not necessarily were able to also score on every single one of their balls," she said.
"We got plenty of hands to it and we are still scoring at a higher rate, which means we have got a lot of centre passes there as well."
The hope is the Hawks will come out stronger for the second match of the weekend against Karana Flames to adhere to a more consistent game plan.
Tuohy was impressed with several players switching between the backcourt that included a stint from a returning Claire McKimmie.
"We wanted to keep them fresh and look at some different plays," she said.
Playing just a fourth game in nearly 30 months, the 25-year-old recovered from not only knee surgery last year, but from the time away in the Launceston General Hospital pharmacy over the coronavirus period to find her feet at wing defence.
