In the men's competition, Will Rodman, Sam Lowe and Christian Byard scored the goals that kept LAUNCESTON UNITED top.
Daniel Smith replied with an excellent free-kick for LAUNCESTON CITY.
Fresh from receiving a vote of confidence from the board at Birch Avenue, coach Glenn Reading admitted it wasn't pretty.

Burnie came from two goals down to win 3-2 and inflict a third straight loss on RIVERSIDE.
The hosts were cruising when Rhys Kinslow scored the first and set up the second for Will Coert.

"I thought we played well but a couple of lapses cost us and then they scored a worldy to win it," said Olympic coach Wayne Penfold.
Hayden Vandervelde continued his scoring streak but couldn't save NORTHERN RANGERS from a 2-1 home loss to Devonport.
