Launceston Distillery distiller and Tasmanian Whisky and Spirits Association treasurer Chris Condon said Whisky Week help showcase local products.
He said originally they had planned on having bigger events but due to COVID that wasn't possible.

"As restrictions have eased we have been able to put on some smaller events and pleasingly they have all sold out which is really exciting," he said
Mr Condon said it was good to see people interested in trying new spirits after the lockdown.
He said Whisky Week was a way distillers could give back to people who supported the local industry during the downturn.
Country Club food and beverage manager Greg Hazelwood said it was good to be able to welcome guests back to Tonic Bar for events.
McHenry Distillery, Old Kempton Distillery, Launceston Distillery, Hellyers Road Distillery and Dark Valley will all have their whisky showcased on the night.
