Humzah Jamal El-Rez, 25, was committed to appear for directions hearing in the Supreme Court of Tasmania on October 12, 2020.
Australian Federal Police brought a count of using a carriage service to transmit, make available, publish distribute, advertise or promote child pornography between August 24 and September 6, 2017.

He was also charged with a second count of using a carriage service to cause child pornography material to be transmitted between September 4 and September 7, 2017.
The pleas were entered by defence counsel Alan Hensley.
