MORE ON TREATY IN TASMANIA:
Professor Dodson is the Northern Territory Treaty Commissioner and will explore the making of a new treaty in Australia and the need for a proper relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in the future.
Professor Dodson is a Yawuru man and native titleholder from Broome in Western Australia.
Professor Dodson said he would be talking about the history of treaty in Australia and detail the steps being taken in the NT.

However, he said treaty would look different in every state and Tasmania would have to negotiate what it looked like.
