St Leonards Primary School and Summerdale Primary School sustained water and flooding damage overnight on Tuesday, but both managed to remain open.
St Leonards Primary School took to social media on Wednesday morning to advise parents it had sustained water damage overnight, due to the snowfall.

Flooding in several classrooms and potential roof damage was reported and the phone lines were down.
Summerdale Primary School also sustained some minor flooding in areas of the school, but it still opened to pupils on Wednesday and won't be affected on Thursday.

The Stanley Street entrance to the school was closed due to ice on the ground and slippery conditions.
An Education Department spokeswoman said staff were working tirelessly to ensure staff and student safety at the affected schools.
"The safety of students and staff is our primary concern," she said.
"Neither school has had to close due to the damage and we are working to rectify this."
The inclement weather conditions forced the closure of five Northern Tasmanian schools on Tuesday.
Campbell Town District High, East Tamar Primary, Glen Dhu Primary, Lilydale District High and West Launceston Primary were all closed due to snow or power outages.
Seven schools were also closed in the south.
At 4pm, the Education Department advised there wouldn't be any schools closed on Thursday.
Parents should consult with either the individual school's Facebook pages or the department's website in the morning in case of any changes overnight.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast cool temperatures for the rest of this week but has not advised if more snow will fall.
