Tasmania Police is working to free 20 vehicles trapped in snowy conditions on the Midland Highway at Spring Hill, after already freeing 20 other vehicles.

Graders have been called in to assist in the jobs.
In a statement, Tasmania Police said the occupants of the vehicles were still in good spirits.
"Police have checked on the welfare of the vehicle occupants - all are safe and warm, with their engines running," the statement reads.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It's expected that the vehicles will be extracted within the next three hours."
No injuries have been reported.
The occupants of 10 vehicles stranded on the Tasman Highway at Bust Me Gall north-east of Hobart have been provided police transport out of the area. A number of vehicles were left to collect once the conditions had eased.
Dozens of vehicles have been assisted after becoming stranded at elevated locations.
Inspector Brett Berry said it was fortunate that there had not been any serious crashes.
"It is extremely lucky that there were no serious injury crashes in the conditions on the roads this afternoon and evening," he said.
"Police urge people to avoid unnecessary travel this evening and to check the Community Alerts on the Tasmania Police website before attempting to travel, as there are numerous road closures across the South of the State including the Midland Highway between Melton Mowbray and Tunbridge."
