North Launceston forward Jake Laskey will be free to play in this weekend's grand final rematch with Lauderdale after successfully overturning a striking charge at the tribunal.

The 26-year-old was initially offered a two-match sanction, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea, after his hit on Clarence's Dylan Howlett was deemed intentional, with low impact and high contact.
However, the former St Pats forward successfully appealed the charge at Tuesday's independent tribunal, which found that the contact made did not constitute a reportable offence.
The incident occurred in Saturday's 15-point win when a scuffle broke out in North Launceston's forward line.
Laskey was slung to the ground before retaliating with a strike to Howlett's upper body, resulting in a free kick and a report.
Laskey gathered 11 touches, took three marks inside 50 and kicked three behinds on debut.
