The outgoing St Pats NTFA coach earned praised after the encounter from Bombers coach Taylor Whitford for being in the thick of the battle.
"I thought coming in for his first game Jake was pretty lively up forward - I thought he was pretty good," he said.
But the TSL match review panel instead adjudged that "lively" application has been misplaced come Monday.
Laskey was referred over making high contact against Clarence rival Dylan Howlett.
The MRP decided Laskey should be charged following North Launceston's 15-point victory with intentionally or carelessly striking Howlett.
It determined the strike to be intentional, but with low impact and high contact.

Laskey had been offered a base sanction of two games, reduced to one game with an early guilty plea.
But Laskey, a mature-age 26-year-old pick up who had wanted to try his luck in the State League, rejected the offer and will fight the charge.
The matter will be heard by the independent tribunal at 6pm on Tuesday night.
He finished up collecting 10 kicks, one handball, three marks, three forward entries and kicked three behinds.
Laskey had come in at the expense of Ulverstone recruit Liam Davis, left out after playing the opening two games of the North's season.
Kingborough's Tyler Carter was referred to the MRP for striking Glenorchy's Tom Cleary, but was cleared over being deemed to have insufficient force to be charged.
