A 22-year-old man who was given bail last week after alleged involvement in a motor vehicle stealing and a serious CBD crash was denied bail on Monday after appearing on further charges in the Launceston Magistrates Court.

Brandon Malcolm Charlesworth, of Kings Meadows, was granted bail by Magistrate Simon Brown on July 24 after appearing on charges of motor vehicle stealing and refusing to supply a blood sample relating to the July 22 crash on the corner of Cimitiere and Tamar streets.
CCTV footage of the crash showed two males and a female fleeing from a stolen Holden Colorado after it crashed into the premises of PCZ4U.

On Monday, Mr Charlesworth appeared before Mr Brown jointly charged with another man of burglary and stealing from a business in York Town Square on July 29.
He is alleged to have used abusive language to a police officer and threatening two police officers on August 1.
Police opposed bail and Mr Brown remanded Mr Charlesworth in custody to reappear on August 25 at 9.15am.
Last week Cody Kenneth Fazackerly, 28, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, motor vehicle stealing, evading police under aggravated circumstances, reckless driving, disobeying a red light and failing to abide by the duties of a driver involved in a crash and stealing.
Mr Fazackerley was remanded in custody to reappear on August 14.
