Current councillor and former mayor Cherly Arnold has again thrown her hat into the ring.
She will compete against Robert Forbes Young and Patt Gadd for the position of mayor.

Acting mayor Jenny Woods has not elected to run and will resume her role as deputy mayor after the election.
Meanwhile Mr Gadd and Mr Forbes Young are also running for a seat on council against Kenneth Gregson and Jenny Logie.
Cr Arnold is the only candidate who stood for mayor at the last election, while Mr Gregson is the only candidate for councillor who ran in 2018.
The byelection was triggered after former mayor Debbie Wisby resigned.
Ms Wisby cited health concerns and unfair criticism as key factors in her leaving.
