Completing their two-week quarantine period last Thursday, Richmond VFL pair Nathan Oakes and Luke Nelson joined up with their new teammates for the first time in Saturday's 34-point loss to North Hobart.
Oakes, a left-footed inside midfielder, collected 12 touches and three marks while speedy defensive forward Nelson kicked his maiden TSL goal from 13 touches and a team-high seven inside 50s.

Brown said the pair would add plenty to the Southern Bombers' line-up as the season goes on.
"That would have been hard for them because not only have you been sitting in a hotel for two weeks, but you now have to learn a completely new structure, new faces, new voices, new names," Brown said.
"That would have been tough to run around on the weekend playing with 20 guys that you don't actually know.
"In saying that, they were both quite impressive for their first hit-outs and they'll be better for it."
After opening the season with wins over Clarence and Glenorchy, Lauderdale was held to just four goals last weekend at the hands of a much-improved North Hobart.
A firing Launceston, who is the competition's only unbeaten side after three rounds, awaits on Saturday and Brown knows his side will have to improve to repeat last year's preliminary final result.
"Our accountability wasn't there [against North Hobart], we had guys that just went hunting the ball and falling away from structures which got exposed," Brown said.
"A lot of it came down to attitude and effort and those things were lacking, so that's something that can be easily tweaked.
"But it probably comes back more to the individual to do that and if they don't want to come and play the way we want them to play, then we may end up on the same end of the stick as we did with North Hobart."
Saturday's game is at Windsor Park and starts at 2pm.
