Chloe Margetson, of Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to a count of unlawfully causing an environmental nuisance by noise emission and one count of wilfully obstructing police.
Police prosecutor Robert Shepherd said that after complaints police had visited Margetson's unit at 2.30am and 3am on April 24 and told her to turn the music down.
In other news:
At 4.20am police received another call and attended the unit where Margetson appeared intoxicated and became belligerent when police said they would seize the sound system.
She stood in the doorway and did not move-thereby obstructing police.
Defence counsel James Oxley said Margetson accepted the facts and could not provide any excuse.
"She knew it was a stupid thing to do not to comply... and she looks back with embarrassment," he said.
He said that the sound system did not belong to Margetson and that is why she did not let the police in.
Magistrate Simon Brown said she was given every chance to do the right thing.
"This was unacceptable, anti social and completely stupid behaviour," he said.
