Due to the popularity of the Richardsons Beach and Honeymoon Bay sites, a group no bigger than six can stay at the sites for no longer than 10 days between December 18 and February 10.

Outside of the summer period, camping in the sites is permitted for up to 14 days.
Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Deputy Secretary Jason Jacobi said the park has been much quieter than normal, making it an extraordinary time to visit.
