The committee will organise the event, as well as tackle any continuing issues related to COVID-19.
Ethan Williams was re-elected as Agfest chairman. He said next year's event would be different to any other Agfest delivered in Tasmania.
In other news:
"As with many other events of our scale we are flying blind at the moment, with no set guidelines for a large non-seated event," he said.
"We are hoping by the current positive trajectory around restrictions easing is that in May 2021 restrictions will have eased to a level where Agfest will be able to operate in the paddock under a new 'normal' at Quercus Park."
Mr Williams said the 10-person committee acknowledged an outbreak would prove challenging for the event, however the group was planning on a range of outcomes for the Tasmanian agricultural staple.
"We are already actively planning for a socially distanced event," he said.
