The woman told TattsLotto that she wouldn't believe she won $2 million until she sees the money in her bank account.
When an official from the Lott spoke to the woman on Monday morning, she was completely blindsided by the life-changing news.
"Bulls--t, you're joking, I don't believe you," she said.
"Wow, it's terrific news if it's true.
"My partner is right here next to me, and he doesn't believe it either.
"I buy a QuickPick entry every week, but I've never won anything like this before.
"Hell no, this can't be true."
The woman shared Saturday division one spoils with nine other winners.
In other news:
She said she would most likely leave the money in the bank until the coronavirus situation eases.
"I still don't believe it. I can't imagine spending it until I have it," she said.
"I just need to check this ticket myself. I'm still in my pyjamas, but the first thing I'm going to do is have a shower and visit the outlet so they can tell me I'm a winner themselves."
The woman requested to remain anonymous.
The winning ticket was purchased from Waterfront News & Lotto in Devonport.
Waterfront News & Lotto owner Rod Hurley said he was very excited to discover his outlet had sold a division one winning entry.
"Hearing that one of our customers had won division one put a smile on the faces of the entire Waterfront News & Lotto team," he said.
"Being able to play a part in changing someone's life is pretty exciting."
"We'll definitely be toasting to the winner, and if we can find out which of our team member sold the winning ticket, we'll give them a special present.
"We've already had plenty of congratulations from our customers, both in store and on our social media pages. Our Facebook page lit up as soon as I posted the news.
"This is the first time we've ever sold a division one winning entry since we took ownership of the store in October 2018.
"We want to send our winner a huge, huge congratulations and best wishes for the future.
"As the saying goes, 'you've got to be in it to win it'. It's wonderful to be able to help someone realise their dreams."
Last financial year, TattsLotto created 127 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers on July 25 were 37, 44, 32, 9, 16 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 11 and 12.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries - four from New South Wales, three from Victoria, and one each from Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
