The Tigers kicked the first three goals of the clash, picking up where they left off last week through Andrew Cox-Goodyer and Cody Gardiner before Old Scotch stemmed the tide as Matthew Duggan kicked their first.
George Oliver, Alec Fotheringham and Charlie Eastoe set the tempo early for the Thistles in a fast-paced quarter as Fotheringham kicked the next but was answered by Kaiden Cox-Goodyer.
Connor Dixon's classy set-shot snap to start the second had Scotch right in the game but the Tigers went on an unbeaten run of five majors - two before the main break and three after - taking a 21-point lead into half-time.
Dixon was able to break the drought late in the third but returning forward Josh Holton's three-goal term put the Tigers in a dominant standing, leading by 37 at the final break despite Manning Mitchell's late major.
Old Scotch were able to take out the final quarter - three goals to two through Dixon and Jock White - as things got fiery, with several off-the-ball scuffles disrupting play before the umpires ignored the ruckus and got back to the action.
Rocherlea defender Cody Weedon was named best-on ground as coach Cox-Goodyer's three and Wyatt Howard's work received recognition while Eastoe, David Morgan and White impressed for the Thistles, with White consistently plucking contested marks to set his team up.

BRIDGENORTH v UTAS
Parrots veteran Rohan Sergeant had an absolute day out against University of Tasmania, with the key forward booting 16 majors as the Parrots ran away 24.9 (153) to 10.4 (64) victors.
With coach Gary Shipton earlier this week describing him as a great focal point up forward, the Parrots used their man effectively in the forward 50 with Sergeant now leading the competition goalkicking by 13 majors.
University booted 10 majors for the first time in seven matches as Chris Smith kicked three and North Hobart recruit Jack Richardson and the impressive Will Geysing kicked two apiece.
Sergeant was understandably Bridgenorth's best player as Sam Glanville and Jake Rice played a supporting role while Liam Guardia once again did his job for University.
MEANDER VALLEY v DELORAINE
The return clash of MEANDER VALLEY and Deloraine's storied rivalry 37 years in the making went comfortably the way of the Kangaroos, hopping away 22.19 (151) to 0.1 (1) victors.
Facing off for the first time since 1983, where the Suns were known as the Westbury Tigers, the Kangaroos kicked 10 majors in the opening half, followed by 12 in the second to take the game away early doors.
Shaun McCrossen kicked five and Lochy Dornauf three as the victors welcomed 12 separate scoreboard contributors while captain Jarrod Scott and recruit Brayden Butler performed well.
Nathan Applebee and Evandale inclusion Sam Bouwman were shining lights for Meander Valley.

BRACKNELL v OLD LAUNCESTONIANS
Bracknell picked up its first win of the season, battling off a valiant Old Launcestonians outfit 12.9 (81) to 8.9 (57).
Marquee recruit Dakota Bannister proved his worth, kicking five majors in his first game in the red and white, helped along the way by Corry Goodluck's three.
The Blues trailed by only two points at the first break, booting the last four goals of the first quarter before the Redlegs slowly became too much to handle.
The day became worse for the Blues faithful, with returning forward Darren Crawford suffering an achilles injury after kicking two majors in the game.
Sam Goodluck, Ed Keach and Will Fisher led the way for the Redlegs as Perth captain Jake Williams impressed in his first game for the Blues alongside Jordan Harris.
