If margins of 20 points or less in round two proved the evenness of the TSL, round three disproved it in surprising ways.

Some may have tipped Launceston's 82-point drubbing of Tigers, but few would have foreseen Clarence keeping Glenorchy to one goal at Richmond while North Hobart doubled Lauderdale's score.
At Kingborough, the home side's lowest-ever TSL score of 2.2 (14) looked in critical danger before two late goals kept historians at bay with the Blues running out 14.15 (99) to 2.5 (17) winners.
Midfield star Fletcher Seymour was withdrawn from the Blues' initial side after injuring his ankle at training on Thursday but the visitors were no less dominant through the middle.
Gun veteran Jay Blackberry took up the slack and after an even opening 10 minutes, the Blues bolted away in red time of the first quarter with four goals in five minutes.

Dylan Riley (four goals), Jake Hinds (two) and coach Mitch Thorp (five), who returned from a week on the sidelines, looked consistently dangerous up forward and all had multiple goals by half time.
The scoreboard read 93-5 before Kingborough finally broke through in the 15th minute of the final term.
It took Eli Reardon - who almost certainly took mark of the year in last weekend's loss to North Hobart - to pluck another contested grab 20m from goal to break the Tigers' duck before Luke Graham doubled the tally minutes later with an impeccable boundary line set shot.
Late inclusion Jack Donnellan kicked the game's final goal as the Blues established a game-and-percentage lead at the top of the table.
"It was just really a good team performance again," Thorp said.
"I thought Tim Auckland again was fantastic - he had 55 hit-outs and nine tackles which is a pretty important performance.
"Our midfielders got the ball forward really efficiently and our forwards were pretty dangerous today - we had a lot of marks inside 50 and shots at goal and we were pretty gnarly behind the footy.
"We got the ball back really well, our tackle count was through the roof and for us that's a really strong indicator of if we're playing the brand that we want."
Captain Jobi Harper was the Blues' best with 30-plus disposals and a third-term goal while Blackberry and Brodie Palfreyman also impressed around the contest.
One week after impressing in a run-with role against North Launceston star Taylor Whitford, young midfielder Jared Dakin backed it up against Tigers vice-captain Kieran Lovell.
The 19-year-old went head-to-head with the ex-Hawk the whole game and was arguably the more influential of the pair.

"As I said to him last week, when you do a good job running with players you might get that job each week - he kept Kieran Lovell to 14 disposals and got some ball himself," Thorp said.
"He's got a super tank, he's a competitive young man and it gives him a real reference point so I've been happy with his last few weeks.
"He looked sharp from the stoppage and I thought our midfield as a unit were very good."
Thorp forecast several selection headaches for next week's home clash against Lauderdale with both Seymour and Tim Bristow, who impressed in a development league return, likely to be free for selection.
Elsewhere, Jeromey Webberley's Clarence made Richmond Oval look like home in a thumping 13.13 (91) to 1.7 (13) win.
Big man Zac Buechner was best on ground in the Roos' first win over Glenorchy in six attempts while Oliver Preshaw kicked three goals.
At North Hobart, the Demons beat Lauderdale for the first time since 2016 with a 10.7 (67) to 4.9 (33) result.
