On Wednesday, police received reports of a vehicle stolen from an Invermay business, before it's alleged it crashed into another car on Vermont Road.
The car was later spotted in the CBD, it's alleged it ran a red light and crashed into a 4WD on the corner of Tamar and Cimitiere streets.
A 28-year-old Rocherlea man was charged with motor vehicle stealing, reckless driving, aggravated evade, drive while disqualified, refuse oral fluid test, fail to remain at the scene of a crash and stealing.
In other news:
A 22-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with motor vehicle stealing and refuse to comply with a drug test.
The two men are scheduled to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am on Thursday.
An 18-year-old Invermay woman was charged with motor vehicle stealing and stealing. She was bailed on Wednesday night and will reappear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on November 17.
